The CLARE 5 controller can optionally include an Ethernet module, which allows the controller to connect to a computer network and access some Internet services. The module is soldered to the processor board at the RS-485 output point. The RJ-45 connector is then placed instead of the terminals C1 - C4 (see the article Konektory regulátoru). In that case, the RS-485 communication output can no longer be used.
