Observational furnaces enable observation, analysis and modeling of melting processes at glass processing. The melt sample can be observed from the left side against black background on the right side. The interior of the oven is designed for temperatures up to 1700°C and taking into account the optical properties of the furnace. Other the furnace parameters are similar to superkanthal furnaces. There are furnaces developed in cooperation with VŠCHT Prague and the company GLASS service Vsetín. Furnaces can be equipped with a chimney for gas extraction, a mechanism for insertion thermocouple into the melt, or other accessories according to requirements customer. Furnaces can also be supplied in a vacuum version and can be further evaluated by video technology for image analysis including the supplied software by GLASS SERVICE company.
